Holy Bible – We believe that the Holy Bible is God’s complete, authoritative, written Word, given to us through men inspired by the Holy Spirit. (2 Peter 1:21; 2 Timothy 3:16, 1 Thessalonians 2:13, 1 Corinthians 2:13; Hebrews 4:12)
God – We believe in the one true and living God: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (1 Corinthians 8:4, 1 Corinthians 8:6)
God the Father – We believe in God the Father, who orders and directs all things according to His own purpose and grace. By His will, all things are created and they continue to exist according to His good pleasure. (Romans 1:18-25, Revelation 4:11, Ephesians 1:11, Ephesians 2: 10)
God the Son – We believe in Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, who is fully human and fully God. He lived, died, and was resurrected for man’s salvation. (John 10:36, Colossians 2:9, 1 Peter 3:18, Philippians 2: 5-8, Hebrews 1: 2, John 3:16)
God the Holy Spirit – We believe in God the Holy Spirit and His work to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment; glorifying the Lord Jesus Christ and transforming believers into the image of Christ. (John 4:24, John 16:13, 1 Corinthians 2:10-13, 2 Corinthians 3:18, 2 Corinthians 13:14)
Man – We believe that man was created by God in His image. We believe that all men are sinners by nature, by choice, and by divine declaration, with no inherent capability to please God. (James 3:9, Romans 3:10-18, Romans 5:18,19)
Salvation – We believe that salvation is wholly of God by grace, through belief in Christ. No mortal works are sufficient, owing only to Christ’s tremendous sacrifice, for which we are not worthy. (John 1:12-13, Ephesians 1:7, Ephesians 2:8-10, Titus 3:5, 1 Peter 1:1-2, 2 Timothy 1:8-9, Romans 10:9, Romans 10:13-17)
The Church – We believe that all who place their faith in Jesus Christ are included by the Holy Spirit in one united spiritual body, the Church, of which Christ is the Head, and of which our local church is a part. We believe that two ordinances have been charged to local churches: baptism and Holy Communion. (1 Corinthians 12:12, 13, Colossians 1:18, Ephesians 1:22, Ephesians 4:4-6, Ephesians 4:11-13, Acts 2:38-42, 1 Corinthians 11:23-32, 1 Peter 3:21)
Baptism - We affirm believer’s baptism, the obedient act of immersion, demonstrating the believer’s faith in and identification with the crucified, buried and risen savior. For those who have placed their faith in Christ, the Lord desires that we make a public confession of His work in us (Mt. 28:19; Acts 2:37,38; Romans 6:3-5).
Holy Communion - We believe in Holy Communion, the believers’ remembrance of the Lord’s Supper, the commemoration and proclamation of Christ’s death until His promised return. (1 Corinthians 12:12-13, Colossians 1:18, Ephesians 1:22, Ephesians 4:4-6, Ephesians 4:11-13, Acts 2:38-42, 1 Corinthians 11:23-32, 1 Peter 3:21)
